Blog #6: Vlog is live, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and more

Hi Everyone!

After taking a couple of days to get through mid-terms I am back with another Blog! Today’s Blog will be short and sweet. I want to touch on just one quick topic.

For some time now I have been following inspirational/motivational speakers. Some of my favorite are Eric Thomas and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The other day I came across a pretty good Arnold speech in which he talked about the 24 hours in a day that you have. Below is a picture with a summary: Read it, believe it, do it.

My official Youtube Vlog is underway! Check it out if you want a visual representation of the Blog! Also don’t be afraid to comment, like and subscribe.

Business: Wrapped up mid-terms and am half way done with my first full semester of grad school. I am also about half way done studying for the first part of my CPA exam. One other business related activity I have been doing is listening to podcasts consistently. I try to listen to one every day. Having the podcast on while driving, on the computer, or working out helps maximize my day so I don’t just sit there and listen to it.

Travel: I recently just traveled out to Connecticut to re-unite with old friends and play in a roller hockey tournament. We ended up taking 2nd place, maybe next year 1st place! Going forward my travel is very uncertain, which I hate, since I am a planner. I will be going to Chicago for a roller hockey tournament Oct. 14/15. My China trip in November is still up in the air. Otherwise, I want to make a trip out to California in early December and I will be going to Aruba at the end of December.

Fitness: Currently I have been hitting the gym about 5-6 per week. I will be doing a fitness challenge called the 10,000 calorie burn challenge. If you go look on YouTube, most people do a 10,000 calorie eating challenge. I want to do the reverse…well attempt to…well see how many calories I can physically burn in a day without going to the hospital. Other than that I having been looking for my next upcoming fitness adventure. A men’s physique competition has been on my mind lately. For those who don’t know, men’s physique is an “athletic” look and “swimsuit” look competition. Unlike bodybuilding where huge muscle are needed, physique is all about being aesthetically pleasing.

Everyday ask yourself what keeps you going? Say it, do it, never forget it.

Rise and Grind
